My tribute to the Provo Tabernacle

So a while back I helped Jamie out to get some family shots for her Christmas card. One of the sites we chose to go was the Provo Tabernacle. Little did we know it wouldn't be around much longer. It was such a shock this past Friday to hear about the fire that had destroyed this beautiful building. I don't have a lot of memories there besides a graduation of my brother and a few Stake conferences, but it was a very beautiful historic building that will be missed. So here are a few shots of the North doors.

St. George Girls

I am very late in posting these, and there are still a lot to come that are not finished. Jamie and I took all 6 of the kids with us on a road trip to St. George clear back in October. Jamie's niece and her friends were so fun to photograph. They got all dressed up and we headed out to shoot. It was so hot down there. I was sweating buckets, getting a workout, but you would never know it with these chicks. Thanks guys!

Sneek Peek ~ I and baby T!

This little guy was so adorable. He had the most beautiful skin. He was just over three weeks when I photographed him, and he was wide awake most of the time. He loved to move and rub his face with his hands, and we had a few "accidents". The poor thing hated the lights, and I don't blame him. He just wanted to sleep right and these silly lights kept flashing in his face. I just didn't have much of a choice with the clouds outside.  He made for a fun challenge, but just look at that sweet face. It was all worth it. His older brother was so fun. We took him outside and let him roam around in an antique car that Chris' grandpa let me borrow. He had a blast. He didn't even mind I had a big black camera in his face. I was rainy up until shooting time so I was a little worried, but it cleared up right as we started shooting. It made for a little mud and some soggy leaves, but this little guys didn't care. He was so fast I had a hard time keeping up :) I must be getting old or something ;) I had my shutter speed at 250 and still couldn't keep his hands still. Thanks mom for letting me photograph these cuties. They are so adorable.

~A little more Chloe~

Here is the second helping of little Chloe. She was a hoot with her cake. She dug right in. Only when she picked the cake up (which I got one picture of but I wasn't ready for her to do it so it was really blurry) and dumped it on her foot was she ready to be done eating it. Happy Birthday little girl!!!

~Chloe 1year~ sneak Peek

This sweet girl is my niece. She was a workout for me. She was not about to sit still. But we grabbed a few before she was completely done. Here is a sneak peek for her family. Still to come are her cake smash pictures :)

Second shooting!

I got the opportunity to go on a shoot with Jamie a couple weeks ago to be second shooter. It was a lot different than I am used to. I wasn't in charge! I tried to get different angles than Jamie was getting to make things different. It was kinds fun. I got a lot of those "peeking in" shots that I don't normally do. This couple was really great to try whatever we wanted. Thanks guys. And thanks to Jamie.

I was playing around with these next two. What do you think? The first I didn't change much, but the second I made the colors different.

New Blog ~ Dani and Zack

Well here is my new photography blog. If you would like to visit the old blog go here. I am trying to get everything separated at the moment, so bear with me while I work on this. I have a lot of fun stuff coming up to post so stay tuned. . .
I took the kids out the other day while Triston was at school to get a few shots of Dani now that she is 18mo! We threw some silly clothes on her and of course Zack wanted to wear his Thomas costume and out we went.

A little sun flare for my flower child.

Love this picture

Hello Eyelashes!

I am so excited. She is now just about past the stage where she doesn't want to look at the camera!

Gotta love it! Lately this boy is all about the posing!
